Garney recently pursued a WRF Rehabilitation and Expansion Progressive Design-Build opportunity involving design and construction upgrades to an existing facility, maintenance of plant operations, and a plan to meet current and future permit requirements. During the pursuit lifecycle, Garney and the Design Engineer developed a proposal and interview that outlined a comprehensive plan that addressed the project’s main challenge by enforcing a framework of reliability, resiliency, and adaptability.
Our proposal and interview strategy focused on presenting a thorough plan to reduce risk, ensure future operational requirements, and adhere to industry standards. A few ways we incorporated our strategy included:
Increasing reader engagement through compelling content and interactive layouts
The proposal’s electronic submittal format allowed us to add an eye-catching graphic of the plant with clickable buttons along the bottom, enabling the selection committee to navigate and interact with the document.
Capitalizing on Garney's virtual green screen technology to showcase innovation and collaboration
Using a virtual green screen to present to the client allowed us to interact with our audience as if we were in the room. Our unique delivery included a “show and tell”-style script where we communicated different possible treatment solutions and technologies in a conversational and engaging format, ultimately capturing our audience’s attention, and ensuring our message wasn’t lost, given the highly technical components of the project.
